Admission Information

Candidates wishing to enter a postgraduate program as a resident or fellow (clinical or research) must meet the University academic and financial admissibility requirements.  Admissibility is determined in the first instance by the University Postgraduate Office.  Candidates are assessed on criteria such as where they have obtained their medical degree and country of citizenship.

Three categories of admissible candidates exist:
  1. Graduates of Canadian medical schools

  2. Graduates of USA medical schools

  3. Graduates of Foreign medical schools - outside North America

For all other residency positions and fellowship inquiries, candidates are advised to contact the concerned Program Director for specific information. Candidates may apply by using the PGME admission form for Residency or Fellowships.
