The MD/PhD Fund

Students

Over the seven years, the cost for each student would be approximately $72,000 (AS OF 2010 NUMBERS) in MEDICAL SCHOOL tuition fees alone. With books and living expenses, students graduating from this program will face a crushing load of debt, potentially hampering their opportunities for extraordinary potential.

The special MD/PhD fund IS set up to support students by covering their tuition fees, having a tremendous impact by helping to prevent dropouts and encouraging deserving students to enroll.

Through your generous support, your investment will send a strong message to students that alumni actively support and encourage their academic initiative, diligence and leadership, raising the profile of University of Ottawa graduates among Canada’s next generation of communications professionals.
