Eligibility
Applicants must have completed a sufficient number of credits and/or have the expectation to complete all the program requirements to obtain a B.Sc. in biochemistry biomedical, biopharmaceutical or biology. In addition, applicants must have attained a minimum of C+ in all 3000 level BIO, BCH and PHS courses taken up to the time of entry, with no supplemental exams in any of these courses.
PHS 3240 (Mammalian Physiology, 6 cr.) given by the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine on the main campus (Sept.-Apr.) or its equivalent is a prerequisite. Under certain circumstances, academically strong students may be admitted to the program at the discretion of the Program Director provided they take PHS 3240 concurrently.
Students that have completed all three ANP courses (1105, 1106, 1107) and obtained an average of 75% for the three courses with no individual course mark lower than 70% do NOT need to take PHS 3240 to enter the Honour’s program.
